Mark Gavoor, President, is the founder and owner of CR-Supply Chain Consulting. Mark has over 32 years of experience in Quality and Supply Chain Management in the consumer products, automotive and defense industries. His areas of expertise include warehouse, transportation, inventory, customer service management, sales and operations planning, and continuous improvement. He has also led the implementation and optimization of SAP in the Supply Chain at two global companies.
Mark’s focus is metric-driven, sustainable improvements using sound Lean Supply Chain principles and process improvement techniques. Mark was Vice-President, Supply Chain, at Newell Rubbermaid’s Office Products Division. Prior to Newell Rubbermaid, Mark spent sixteen years at Colgate-Palmolive where he was Director of Customer Service and Logistics for the Latin American Division. He has also held positions in Warranty Analysis, Reliability Engineering, Operations Research, Quality Control and Total Quality Management at Ford, General Dynamics, Rockwell and TRW.
Mark is an active member of the American Society for Quality Control where he is on the Standing Review Board for ASQC Quality Press; he is also on the Editorial Review Board for Quality Progress Magazine. Mark is currently teaching at The College of Lake County in Grayslake, Illinois and The Keller Graduate School of Management. Mark has a BS and an MS in Mathematics from the University of Michigan and an MS in Operations Research and an MA in Statistics from Wayne State University.
William (Bill) Connelly is a Vice-President, Supply Chain Consultanting, bringing over 20 years’ experience in the supply chain and operations areas. He has served in industries ranging from Oils and Coolants Manufacturing and Distribution, Printed Circuit Board Manufacturing, Contact Manufacturing and Electronic Manufacturing. His specific areas of expertise are process improvement, business coaching, inventory, material flow, manufacturing, warehousing, shipping and receiving, financial reporting, order management, and business report writing. He has led the Oracle implementation for Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Shipping and Receiving.
Bill’s passion for operational excellence using process improvements, process flow mapping, data mining, and materials programs (JIT / KANBAN / Consigned Inventory) have delivered significant business improvements and cost savings. Bill was originally brought into WMS as the Pinball production Manager, and advanced within the company to senior management roles with WMS, including; Manufacturing, Materials, Business Process Improvement, and Business Systems Integration during his 16+ year engagement.
Bill received his Associates Degree in Security Administration from the Community College of the Air Force while serving in the Unites States Air Force, a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University, and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Dominican University
Ara Surenian, the Founder and President of Cadent Resources, Inc. and Chief Design Architect of DemandCaster has more than 20 years of experience in management, operations, and engineering. His specialty is designing and implementing business processes that blend lean manufacturing, process flow, and business intelligence to significantly improve a company’s cash flow and profit.
His professional experience includes Jacquard Associates, a turnaround consulting firm, where he held the role of senior consultant and implementation manager for their operation’s practice. He was plant manager at Universal Superabrasives, Inc, a leading manufacturer of diamond and CBN grinding tools where he was instrumental in their turn-around effort. Ara also worked as a product engineer at Raytheon’s Missile Systems Division where he was project manager developing new electronic packaging technologies.
Ara is an advisor to business owners and is a seasoned and storied presenter at professional associations, executive roundtables, and seminars. He is a current member of APICS, The Association for Operations Management and the Institute of Business Forecasting. Ara has an MBA with a specialization in Strategic and Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Illinois, and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston.
Zavin Nazaretian is a PhD candidate at Wayne State University where he is also a research fellow. Before starting his PhD Zavin completed his MS at Loughborough University in the United Kingdom. Zavin is an experienced quantitative researcher who has seven years of experience doing statistical analysis. Our social scientist is a expert with statistical analyses employing predictive and causal modeling.
In addition to joining our team he also teaches at Wayne State and does research with Statistics Canada at the University of Windsor.
Jolene Pratt is marketing manager and webmaster for CR-Supply Chain Consulting. Her main focus is designing and improving marketing strategies for the company. Acting as a funnel for the company, she promotes awareness of the firm which in turn generates business opportunities. Jolene also coordinates the sales and customer service processes.
One of Jolene’s specialties is developing and maintaining internal processes for both CR-Supply Chain Consulting and our clients. Her documentation of process steps define a pathway of success for us and our clients. In an effort to maintain our company image, she ensures our branding carries through all of our internal and external materials.
Jolene’s volunteer experience includes The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northern Illinois where she was board administrator from 1998-2002.
Jolene comes to us with 16 years of customer service, marketing, bookkeeping, consulting and administrative experience, she has received her Associates degree in Business (Office Systems & Technology) from the College of Lake County in Grayslake, Illinois.
